looks kind of boring, only one horizontal line, where all objects are stacked and some vertical lines from the light reflections on the water.

....just what i think about this picture

Can I ask what you think of minimalist photography/art? boring?

thanks for not taking it personally =)

i think minimalist photography is a great and very challenging thing. but minimalist means reducing your picture to to a point where you only see a part of something bigger in its convincing simplicity. but the viewer can still make up the bigger picture.

so in my eyes, this doesn't really apply to this picture, if that was what your where getting at...

No problem :) I was just curious, although I do think my photo has some minimalist elements when you break it down into basic shapes/lines/colours and composition.
I guess to me personally it's not boring as it's my home city and the title of the photo relates to the bridge/river dividing the two main communities in my city, Catholic/Nationalist & Protestant/Unionist. I probably should mention that in the description.
